Nova Scotia economy showing signs of positive growth

Maratimers have weathered economic storms before, and with their tried and true “can- do” work ethic, Nova Scotians have helped their province be among one of the few to grow their GDP in 2008.

 

Only half of the provinces showed positive growth in real GDP last year, Statistics Canada reported on Monday.
Saskatchewan led the list, with growth of 4.4 per cent, while Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, and Manitoba also showed positive numbers.
