Fusion Halifax and the Farmers’ Market Investment Cooperative announced a second round of shares in the Seaport Farmer's Market soon to be under construction. It's a unique community nurturing initiative that will be built on Pier 20 in Halifax:

“We’re about developing local, personal and direct,” Kilcup said. “That’s the basis the market’s built on, and what we’re doing with Community Connectors is taking that to the community and talking to them, directly, locally and personally, and building that back into value for the market. It’s all about farmers selling food to make a living.”
