HALIFAX - There is exceptional talent in the Atlantic Canadian arts community and East Coast Connected is dedicated to showcasing it inside and outside of the region.

To this end, ECC has selected the work of Nora Gross to be the first to be featured on www.eastcoastconnected.ca.

Ms. Gross has been a presence in the Atlantic Canadian arts scene for over twenty-five years and is part owner of the arts co-op Painters Palette on Spring Garden Road in Halifax.

In fact, the directors at East Coast Connected liked her piece entitled "Jigs and Reels" so much that they decided to use it as the online image associated with the East Coast Connected launch party. The work features the traditional East Coast image of a fiddler overtop of a blue-green abstract.
