East Coast Connected "circulates" in New Brunswick

East Coast Connected went back to its roots with a tour across Atlantic Canada – meeting with business communities in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland & Labrador – to raise awareness of the organization and the opportunities it provides to Atlantic Canada's business, arts and academic communities outside the region. After the recent information session in Fredericton, N.B., the Telegraph-Journal, the Daily Gleaner and Times Transcript covered the event.

Chris Crowell hates the term brain drain when it's used to describe young people leaving Atlantic Canada. The president of East Coast Connected prefers brain circulation.

"We need to evolve our thinking," said Crowell at a business breakfast in Fredericton on Tuesday morning attended by about 100 business people and politicians.
